A. Features:
Lightweight;
High strength and rigidity;
Durable;
Exceptionally straight;
Resistant to corrosion;
Low thermal expansion;
Non conductive to heat;
For use in all climates and exposure to sunlight;
Free maintenance;
Because of the above advantages, composite products are gradually replacing metals and plastics in many fields like aviation, marine, military, automobile, sport, etc.
B. Material:
The prepeg material we are using is made from carbon fiber, from glass fiber or mixed carbon and glass fiber. For carbon fiber prepreg, there are different modulus standards, including 24T, 30T, 36T and 40T. The modulus selected for each product is based on the mechanical property requirement. To reduce cost, low modulus carbon fiber or glass fiber/carbon composite material can be used.
C. Manufacturing Process:
Many of our tubes are built with a roll-wrapping process which means the fiber type and angle for each layer of the tube is arranged to give the overall mechanical properties required by the application.
.... ....
We also use pultrusion process to produce tubes with uni-directional fibers, and pullwinding process to produce tubes with additional winding fibers.
